Hrithik Roshan, Pooja Bedi banned from Bigg Boss finale?

Ever since her eviction from Bigg Boss 5, Pooja Bedi has been accusing Salman Khan of favouring housemate Mahek Chahel. But there's a new twist in the drama.

According to Bedi, she has being asked not to attend the finale despite being it a part of her contract.

She tweeted: 'Have been informed by channel that I'm not to attend finale, despite it being mandatory in my contract! Wonder why! Any guesses? :) Have asked channel 2 state reason I cannot b there at finale to cheer my friends on! Also, till yesterday I was 2 do a medley! What changed?'

That's not it. A Mumbai-based newspaper claimed that Salman refused to have Hrithik Roshan on his show, as the two fell out after Sallu made some unpleasant comments on Roshan's film Guzaarish. Salman opted for Imran Khan instead.

Quoting the newspaper, Pooja added: 'Mumbai mirror article today! Hrithik not allowed in #BB5 finale! Guess I'm not the only victim! Wow!'

In the meantime, B-town celebrities expressed their views on the show.

Mini Mathur wrote: 'I can't decide what's worse.. The brainless chatter in big boss or hammy make believe situations in khan sisters. #INSTANTrapidNAUSEA'

Roshan Abbas, on the other hand, enjoyed watching Japanese Sumo wrestler Yamamotoyama who entered the house for a day. 'Prime time TV: a Sumo wrestler wrestles with Hindi! and we watch delighted!!' he updated.

Shirish Kunder tweeted: 'Watching Big Boss after a long time. Tata Sumo is Palang Tod!'

Symonds wants to learn Indian culture in Bigg Boss house

Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds is the latest celebrity to enter the " Bigg Boss" house and says he is looking forward to his stint on Indian television and is hoping to get an opportunity to understand Indian culture.

"I don't know much about Indian culture. I know about it in bits and pieces. Hope to learn about it more," Symonds told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

The sportsman, who will enter the house Wednesday, is well-versed with the challenges on the field, but he is now looking forward to the challenges inside the house.

"There are different challenges on the field, but challenges would be different inside the house. Right now I am quite relaxed. I am going inside the house with an open mind and take on challenges as they come. I haven't planned anything," he said.

"I have no expectations, I have come to make friends. It will be challenging but at the same time it will be a lot of fun also. I just want to enjoy the entire experience," he added.

Symonds will be the second international celebrity to enter the Colors' show after Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone. The 36-year-old cricketer will enter the show as a participant. Symonds was in the news when in 2008 he accused Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh of making racial comments against him.

In the show, the contestants have to stay inside the "Bigg Boss" house without any connection with the outside world with 24X7 camera surveillance.

The fifth season started Oct 2 with 14 contestants. Right now seven are left - Sunny, Mahek Chahal, Juhi Parmar, Akashdeep Saigal, Siddharth Bharadwaj, Shonali Nagrani and Amar Upadhyay.

All the contestants inside the "Bigg Boss" house have to do day-to-day chores on their own, whether it's cleaning or cooking. Symonds admits he doesn't cook much, but is ready to help his inmates.

"I would be more than happy to help the people inside the house in everyday work and cleaning, though I don't cook much. I know a little bit of barbeque," he said.

The episode showing his entry in the house will be telecast Thursday.

‘Bigg Boss’: Sunny Leone reveals her ‘perfect man’

Mumbai: Super star porn queen Sunny Leone`s fans have something to cheer about; she has finally revealed her `wish list` on the qualities that she would want in her `perfect man`.

As per the day`s task, Bigg Boss asked housemates to write their wedding profile with Shraddha being appointed to act as the matchmaker who would select the perfect couple.

The first to list out his wish list, about the qualities he expects in his match was Amar. He said "Want someone who is between 5.5 ft to 5.7 ft in height, is soft-spoken, who would keep the family together, fair in colour, should be able to dance on modern numbers, wear high heels and also make good daal."

Shonali said that her ideal partner should be between 28-38 years in age. "He should make me smile and have a big heart," she added.

Siddharth started out by saying that he is a fighter and wants a true Punjaban who is cultured and loving.

Then came Sunny Leone’s chance to shed light on what all qualities she would want in her ideal mate. She said, ` He should be hardworking, spontaneous, positive, smart, physically fit and business minded."

"I don’t want someone who is selfish. I want a man with whom I would want to spend my entire life...who would love me... who would say, I love you to me every morning," she added.

Shraddha too, played her part perfectly. She selected Sunny Leone and Amar as the perfect couple.

Later, all the housemates assembled in the activity area where Bigg Boss had arranged filmy marriage thrones for the winning couple. Sunny and Amar sat on it and were surrounded by other housemates to "say cheese" in unison.Earlier in the day, Mahek and Sky were called together to the confession room. Bigg Boss offered them an `exclusive` grand lunch and asked them to try whether they can find common ground and be friends.

Sky touched upon her support to Shraddha when the latter abused him and called him a `Gadha’ (donkey). Mahek tried to clarify but she couldn’t cut much ice with a stubborn Sky.

Later Bigg Boss accepted that they have deep differences and that they can’t be friends. He said, "You both don`t want to listen to each other. Your allegations are almost similar, so Bigg Boss is trying to minimize the differences between you two."

However, they kept fighting with each other which eventually led to Sky leaving the room in a huff. Mahek reacted by crying. She said. "I don`t know why I have been put in this house with this (Sky) person."

Sky later told housemates, "Har jagah footage khana jaroori hain (She – Mahek - wants to garner footage everywhere)."

In another twist to the tale, Siddharth took offence to Bigg Boss` effort to try and sort the differences between Sky and Mahek.

He was of the opinion that if Bigg Boss is not biased then he could have treated other fighting inmates to lunch as well. The Delhi boy went on to announce that he won’t eat a morsel of food in the house as he has lost his trust in the fairness of the `game`.

Later Mahek talked to Bigg Boss via a camera, she said, "I and Sky talked and there`s a new beginning in our relationship."

Interestingly, late in the night, Sunny Leone was seen talking to Sky and Juhi in a hushed tone about her past!

Although it is yet unclear as to what she exactly said but the other two were seen expressing their support to her.

Bigg Boss 5: Mahesh Bhatt to enter house on November 30

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt will enter the Bigg Boss 5 house on Wednesday to officially offer adult film actress Sunny Leone the lead role in his upcoming film, Jism 2.

The buzz is that Bhatt will also reveal Sunny's identity as a porn star to the housemates on the show. Sunny so far has introduced herself as a Hollywood actress and model.

With Jism 2, Bhatt also plans to launch his son Rahul in Bollywood. Rahul incidentally was a Big Boss participant during season 4.

Bhatt will be seen on the show in Thursday's episode and will spend only a few hours inside the house. Sources say he wants to "observe" Sunny before finally signing her for the film, which is a sequel to his 2003 blockbuster Jism, starring Bipasha Basu and John Abraham.

"Bigg Boss has emerged as a great marketing platform and the right place to launch a film. I plan to offer a role to Sunny and also want to reach out to a wide target audiences for my film," Bhatt said.

The film will be directed by Bhatt's daughter Pooja and has been talked about for the last few months. The Bhatt brothers - Mahesh and Mukesh - have been looking for a lead actress for quite some time now.

The initial buzz suggested Mallika Sherawat would replace Bipasha Basu because the latter had reportedly acted pricey.

"People are asking why Sunny? She has great star power. When I saw her on the show I realised she has the right attitude for the role," he said.

"Pooja wants a star who is vibrant and sensuous. I want an actress who not only has the physical attributes but also the emotional edge to carry off the complex role," he added.

Sunny, who has been staying in the Bigg Boss house for over a week now, has made it clear she is in the house for an image makeover. But not revealing her identity as an adult film star. She has tried to ensure that the housemates know her as a person first.

"I don't want people to judge me by my profession," Sunny said in one of the episodes, inside the confession room of Bigg Boss 5.

Hey Boss, kids are watching Sunny Leone’s other acts

A 15-year-old boy from a reputed school in South Mumbai was caught discussing Sunny Leone after watching pornographic videos of the adult star on the Internet. The boy who was reprimanded by his teachers and parents said he was curious to know more about Leone after she made an appearance in Bigg Boss, a reality show on television.

Psychiatrists and sexologists in the city said this was not an isolated case. For the past two weeks, they are getting an increasing number of cases of youngsters watching porn clips in an attempt to know Leone and her work.

"Two days ago, the parents of a 16-year-old girl came to me and complained that their daughter was spending most of her time watching Leone’s porn videos on the Internet. They had installed a software to keep a watch on her internet activities. When they confronted her, she said she was checking who Leone was and ended up watching porn clips. She did not know how and when she got addicted to porn," said Dr Rajan Bhonsle, professor and head of the department of sexual medicines, KEM hospital and GS medical college.

"Ever since news of Leone's participation in Bigg Boss was made public, I have been seeing parents complaining of their children's sudden addiction to porn movies," said Dr Bhonsle. "All the cases have a common point — Sunny Leone. There is so much curiosity about her that people are turning to the Internet to find out more. Since her identity is that of a porn star, people end up watching porn clips."

Leone was born as Karen Malhotra in Ontario, Canada, in May 1981. She has appeared in various reality shows in the US and was named among the world's top 12 porn performers by fashion magazine Maxim in 2010.

Doctors believe organisers of Bigg Boss should have been more careful while introducing someone like Leone. "Bigg Boss is a very popular show and when a person who is otherwise unknown lands up in the house, people are bound to get curious," said child psychiatrist Dr Rajiv Anand who also runs the Rahat child guidance clinic in Andheri.

"I held a workshop in Bhayander on Sunday where parents told me that they were alarmingly distressed and disturbed with their children spending time online to get information on Leone.Children in the 10-12 age group have excessive curiosity," said Dr Anand. Dr Bhosle agrees. "Though the organizers are trying to hide Leone's identity from the housemates, the media is talking about her status as an adult star and the fact that she is a bisexual," he said.

The Leone phenomenon in India is not only restricted to children. "Even young couples are experiencing marital problems because of her. I dealt with a case in which a husband wanted his wife to behave like Leone after watching the adult star's videos. The wife refused and it led to fights," said Dr Sunay Pradhan, consulting psychiatrist at Masina hospital.

There are others who feel porn addiction among teenagers is normal. "Teenagers watching porn is an age-related issue and a passing phase. As long as they are able to clear their doubts with a matured individual, it is fine. But if it starts affecting the child's studies or life, one should intervene and offer help. Parents need to handle the issue carefully," said senior psychiatrist Dr Harish Shetty.

The Leone mania has certainly gripped India and is set to stay asBollywood directors have also expressed a desire to cast her in films.

I have a beautiful body: Veena Malik

Pakistani actress Veena Malik has signed not one or two but five Bollywood films we hear. The 'Bigg Boss' seductress has fair share of fan base in India too.

Be it her intimacy with Ashmit Patel or shenanigans at the Bigg Boss house, Veena Malik has managed to stay in the limelight.

The starlet is currently in news owing to her 'Swayamvar' on tv. Apparently she has shown interest in getting married on tv through the 4th season of the wedding reality show. We asked Veena if its true. "I can't say anything about Swayamvar but I am looking forward to getting married in real life. I've been unlucky in love though" admits Veena. Ask about Ashmit and she says, "I am fond of him. He is a dear friend."

As far as safeguarding her 'sexy' image is concerned, Veena is quick to add, "I have a beautiful body and I have done some sexy photo shoots here in India but they are all esthetically shot and I won't call them semi-nude."

Looks like after Bigg Boss, Swayamvar seems to be next on Veena's agenda.

Rakhi Sawant wants Sunny Leone out of Big Boss

There are a lot of talented, bold and even controversial Indian artistes who are struggling to make ends meet.

The Indian Artistes and Actors Forum (IAAF) says it has got support from various quarters including names like Member of Parliament Dr. Nilesh Rane, fire-brand DJ Jenny D, drama queen Rakhi Sawant and many other Bollywood producers and directors for its anti-Veena Malik and anti-Sunny Leone stance.

Member of Parliament and General Secretary of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee, Dr. Nilesh Rane said, “There are a lot of talented, bold and even controversial Indian artistes who are struggling to make ends meet. I think they should be given a fair chance. I am speaking in my personal capacity and this is my personal view not party view. However, if there is any sort of agitation by the IAAF, I will give them my full support and stand by them.”

Rane, who is the elder son of Maharashtra Industries minister Narayan Rane, came out very strongly against the policy of TV channels of paying such astronomical sums to persons who probably didn’t deserve the money. “We have so many poor, struggling yet talented actors, singers and artistes. What are the Tv channels doing to promote and support them,” he asked?

Says Rakhi Sawant, “They (the channel and the production house SOL) could have selected any other woman from India. There are so many controversial or bold and outspoken girls like Sambhavna Seth, Kashmira Shah, Dj Jenny D, Poonam Pandey to name a few. Imagine should have chosen them. There are thousands of girls in India who are trying to get roles in films and Tv. Why have they selected a “sattebaaz” who has ruined the name of her own country? Once was probably ok, but now they are doing it again and again. I strongly condemn this move and join the protest.”
