I'm open to item numbers: Zarine Khan

Veer fame actress Zarine Khan is open to doing more item songs but sans vulgarity. She teamed up with Salman Khan in the item song Character Dheela.

"I was offered a lot of item numbers but I wasn't really comfortable. Character Dheela I would not call an item number because it was a fun song and I had Salman in it along with me. I knew nothing would go wrong," Zarine, who was here for the launch of skin care products, told IANS. "I am open to such songs where there is no vulgarity or sleaziness," she added.

The 23-year-old, who made her Bollywood debut with the 2010 film Veer, is busy with new projects.

"The first schedule of Housefull 2 has been completed and now we are gearing up for the next schedule, which will start from next month. I am also doing a Tamil film titled Karikalan with Vikram."

Munni to return in Sajid's Housefull 2

 

Malaika Arora Khan, Bollywood's undoubted item queen, may have become choosy about shaking her booty in solo dance sequences but she agreed to do an item number in Sajid Khan's Housefull 2.

The song will be choreographed by Sajid's sister Farah Khan. Farah had incidentally directed the moves of Chhaiyya chhaiya in 1998' s Dil Se, the song that brought Malaika in the limelight, as well as Munni badnaam.

Sajid had earlier wanted to rope in Karisma Kapoor for the item dance in question.

Malaika will do an item number in Housefull 2

Not that she went away anywhere, but Munni badnaam hui brought Malaika Arora Khan into the limelight.

The item number, in 2010's Salman Khan blockbuster Dabangg, catapulted not only Malaika to the top of the charts, but also ensured the movie itself sold that many more tickets.

And now she is all set to reprise her Munni avatar in Sajid Khan's Housefull 2, where she joins the returning cast of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Boman Irani, along with new entrants Jacqueline Fernandes, Asin and Shazahn Padamsee.

With this bevy of beauties already adding to the glam quotient, Malaika's apparently rustic number should break the barometer in no time.
