Double maza for Salman’s fans in ‘Dabangg 2’

Salman Khan’s portrayal of the flamboyant Chulbul Pandey in ‘Dabangg’ has become an iconic character of sorts, for he has set a new trend with his thin handlebar moustache, formal trousers and shirts and his glares hung at the back of his collar.

And who could forget his performance in ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ with his sister-in-law Malaika Arora Khan? Though we know for a fact that Kareena Kapoor will be shaking a leg to an item number in the film, here’s another dhamakedar song in store for you.

Yes, Salman Khan will be grooving in to ‘Pandeyji Mare Seeti’ along with his bhabhi jaan.

So people, are you ready for a double Salman ‘Dabangg’ Khan treat?

Salman Khan teenager fan duped by a stranger

Mumbai: Not that the city of dreams, Mumbai is any way limited to unexpected visitors from different corners of the world, but here’s an incident which highlights the craziness of a teenage fan for her on-screen idol Salman Khan.

In pursuit of a dreamy rendezvous with India’s biggest star Salman Khan, a 14 year old girl ran away from her house with a sum of Rs 3,000 much to the distress of her family and relatives back in Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh.

Obviously, unaware of the goings of the megacity, the star-struck standard IX student found herself lost in the middle of Mumbai with neither money to go back nor food to eat. Reportedly, the teenager was lured by a stranger in the pretext of promising her to take to the actor, thereby taking all her money she had.

Meanwhile, the teenager’s father lodged a missing complaint with the local police. Even as cops had initiated investigations, Kurla RPF finds the 14-yr-old near a railway station restroom.

Cops are now trying to track down the unidentified man who duped her of money by promising to take her to the star.

Wonder, what Salman have to say about this one-of-a-kind incident!

Why did Salman Khan invite Ranbir Kapoor to lunch?

Days after actor Saif Ali Khan’s brawl with a South African businessman in a city restaurant eclipsed all events in B-Town, two of its stars, known to have a history of cold war going on between them, apparently got together for lunch. Wondering who they are? It’s Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor.

While they may not have had a full-blown brawl in the past, there apparently is no love lost between them; it seems like it has a lot to do with Salman’s protegee and once rumoured flame, actress Katrina Kaif.

The heroine, who was rumoured to be in a relationship with Salman for a long time, has apparently moved on and is now reportedly in a relationship with Ranbir. Grapevine suggests that though Ranbir-Katrina’s relationship didn’t work out, it’s back on track and in fact, stronger than ever since the initial break-up.

Given the history, onlookers on a set, where the two actors were shooting were taken aback to see Salman, who is back from his recent shooting schedule in Cuba with Katrina, inviting Ranbir over for lunch at Mehboob Studios. Says a source,

“Salman and Ranbir were busy shooting for their respective films at Mehboob studios. When they bumped into each other at the studio, both greeted each other cordially. After exchanging pleasantries, Salman asked Ranbir to join him for lunch. Ranbir seemed surprised at first, but agreed immediately and left with Salman bhai. They then had lunch together, from prying eyes. After the lunch, they were then seen returning to their respective sets for work.”

The source further adds, “Though it’s not known what they were discussing, it did seem like it got awkward at a certain point, but just for a brief while.”

Apart from Katrina being the bone of contention between them, the actors apparently had a fallout during the release of 2011 film Chillar Party. Salman, who produced the film, was reported to have edited Ranbir’s item number from the film, and retained it only for promotional activities. He also apparently ensured that Ranbir was left out of the guestlist for the premiere of the same film. So, wonder what the warring duo were really discussing after all?

Salman Khan's 'Dabangg 2' will overpower 'Ek Tha Tiger'?

On his birthday, astro-numerologist predicts that from Salman Khan's upcoming films in 2012, 'Dabangg 2' will be a step ahead of 'Ek Tha Tiger'.

He may have done some serious wrongs in his real life in the past, but nothing can take away from the fact that people are just 'Ready' to accept the 'Dabangg' man in any avatar. On the eve of his birthday, we ask astro-numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi to find out what's in store for Salman Khan - the most charismatic star of Bollywood for the upcoming year 2012.

"Salman was born on 27th December 1965 which makes him a Number 9 ( Mars) person in numerology. He is a Capricorn (ruler Saturn - Number 8) and his destiny number adds up to Number 6 (Venus)", explains Bhavikk.

"Being ruled by Number 9, Salman is a tough nut to crack. He is firm with his decisions but can get impulsive at times which he should be wary of. Being ruled by Number 8 (Saturn) he has knowingly or unknowingly put himself in trouble most of the times and been there at the wrong side of the law. But this is the same 'shani' which has given him tremendous success, popularity and love of the people all around the world. With the right balance of mind and looking at things more rationally, he can actually improve his personal life more as Number 6 (Venus) indicates a good marriage life and his family loving nature", explains Bhavikk.

"The coming year 2012 adds up to Number 5 (Mercury) and Salman will be entering in his 47th year which indicates unnecessary delays in his life whatsoever", predicts Bhavikk. "His work assignments may not get complete on time and schedules might go haywire sometimes due to his fault and at times due to other technical reasons as well. Even his love life will remain more or less dry with no sign of concrete relationship happening anytime soon"

"But on the film front, his next release ' Ek Tha Tiger' in the Eid of 2012 would prove to be a profitable venture as the film title (sums up to Number 32) vibrates well with the year 2012. However Number 5 is usually not lucky for Number 9 people and hence the film may not be able to exceed the collections of ' Dabangg 2' which will turn out to be a 'bigger hit' in comparison when it comes to pure box office figures", signs off Bhavikk on a clear cut note.

Salman Khan turns 46 (Ek hi hai Tiger)

Today Salman Khan enjoys the status similar to the iconic Big B during his regime in the 80's where the megastar's star power converted mediocre films into blockbusters.. at that time people flocked theatres to see their favourite Amitabh Bachchan in action, roles where designed according to his image.. today Salman enjoys the same love and affection from the industry and the public.

Its only Salman who can turn average to above average movies like Ready and Bodyguard turn into record breakers at the B.O.

Audience don,t care much about the technicalities or art here... they want their hero in action giving them the moment they have paid and come for and today only Salman can guarantee the return to his investors.

Remember, he is the same Salman whose box office credentials where getting questioned in 2008 when Yuvvraaj, Heroes, God Tussi Great Ho, dumped at the box office.

His critics forgot the fact that Salman Khan who has the knack of walking into troubles and was once considered as 'bad boy' has the habit of writing history at Bollwood box office.

Maine Pyaar Kiya broke all records during its times which was later broken by his own 'Hum Aapke Hai Kaun'. Salman was always the favourite amongst the masses, the rare combination of tough well toned body and soft face with a 'I don't care damn' attitude made him the favorite amongst the masses and the media alike.

Salman and his fans where waiting for something like 'wanted' to happen and the result proved that Salman Khan is here to stay and rule.  Dabangg, Ready, Bodyguard all where testimonies one after another that one it comes to star power.. Nobody can touch this man .

After 'Wanted' Salman realized the importance of promotions and media, he revived his image from a brat to someone who cares synonymous to his name; he became the protector, the leader with the initiative called 'Beign Human' he was the darling of the masses. His failed love affairs acted as sympathy which further helped in molding his image, his caring nature earned him great respect from his co -workers, his commitment to his family and brothers made him the perfect 'Hero' that every  filmmaker and filmgoer wants.

Our dear Salman Khan was once considered to be the weakest of all the other Khans - Shahrukh and Aamir but today as he turns 46, Bollywood is at his feet. He may not be the greatest actor but he certainly is the biggest 'Dabangg' the 'Bodygaurd' that guards the money of his producers, always 'Ready' to help those needy (Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sonakshi Sinha.. many such examples) which makes Salman Khan the most 'Wanted' hero of Hindi cinema.

Wishing Salman - the man with a heart bigger than his biceps a VERY HAPPY AND HEALTHY BIRTHDAY..

Shah Rukh Khan misses Salman Khan?

Is the King Khan extending the olive branch to arch enemy Salman Khan? Or was Shah Rukh Khan being politically correct in front of people?
Recently at an awards function, SRK had to give out an award which incidentally went to Salman and in his absence, SRK wished his once friend now enemy was present to receive the award himself.

We all know how the two Khans have been warring for years now. So much so that the cold war has at times extended to their extended circle. But it seems SRK is in a mood to bury the hatchet.

On Tuesday evening at an awards function, SRK was there to announce the award for the Best Onscreen Couple.

Speaking to a daily, a source said, "Keeping in mind that the presenters` and the winners` parts are scripted, it`s obvious that SRK would know who was winning in the category." Eyewitness account says that the actor didn`t seem too surprised while reading out the names of the winners Salman and Kareena Kapoor.

Both Salman and Kareena were not present at the event and instead, Salman`s sister Alvira and brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, who produced ‘Bodyguad’ went up on the stage to receive the award on Salman`s behalf.

Now, not too long ago, Alvira was in news when her bb status read ‘Even a Super Hero needs a Bodyguard’ on the day of the release of SRK’s ‘RA.One’.

Surprisingly, there was no awkwardness when Alvira and Atul went up the stage and SRK was extremely warm and friendly towards them and announced "Wish Salman and Kareena were here to receive their award”.

When the daily contacted Atul, the producer was elated that his film had won the award. On being asked if there was any awkwardness with SRK, he said, "The category was after SRK`s act. So I guess he knew he was giving away this award."

Speaking about Shah Rukh`s statement, Atul said, "Yes, he did say something to that effect. But I don`t think there`s too much to read into that, irrespective of the so called history."

As for wife Alvira`s status message on her phone, Atul said, " I don`t know how these stories came about. But there was no awkwardness at all."

SRK vs Salman Khan: Yet another clash of the titans!

Arch rivals Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are constantly in news for their films competing against each other. Since the formers dream venture ‘RA.One’ was released two weeks ago, the Box Office battle is back between the two once again.

Buzz has it that the trade pundits are analyzing that ‘RA.One’ could beat Sallu’s ‘Ready’ in terms of collections in the domestic market.

SRK’s ambitious film that was released recently has been one of Bollywood’s most expensive films ever made. Eros Entertainment and King Khan have made a whopping investment of 162 cr on it.

Though ’RA.One’ garnered average reviews, but what’s surprising is that it has bagged the moolah at the BO and the figures can be already be compared to that of Salman’s super hit ‘Ready’.

Given that it is yet another weekend coming up and with a bank holiday this week, trade specialists feel that by the end of its tenure ‘RA.One’ could easily go on the list of one of Bollywoods biggest grosser this year.

A trade source informs media, "3 Idiots collected 102 cr; Dabangg-74 cr; Bodyguard 72 cr; Ready-64 cr, Ghajini-58 cr, Golmaal-3-56cr; Singham 50 cr. These are net collections and are very close approximations. Now chances are that Ra.One could cross the 64 cr mark of Ready. Or come to a photo-finish with this Salman film.

Only time will tell. Either way it will definitely be above Golmaal-3 and Singham.``

This battle at the Box Office looks even more interesting because of the two titans, SRK and Salman Khan standing face to face on it this time, yet again!

Even a Superhero needs a Bodyguard!

Trust us; this will do nothing good to the already sour relationship between the two biggest Khans of Bollywood: Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan. Salman Khan’s sister Alvira Khan has poked fun at Shahrukh Khan and his opus Ra.One.

Reportedly, after the release of Ra.One, Alvira Khan’s Blackberry status message read: “Even a Superhero needs a Bodyguard!”

While Shahrukh Khan’s fans are not taking this slight humorously, Alvira Khan’s friends feel that it was just status message and was meant for pure fun and was not targeted to take a dig at SRK.

The most controversial part is that SRK’s supporters are even claiming that Salman Khan must have been the one to have asked Alvira to put that status message! If reports are to be believed, Alvira would never put such a drastic status without the consent of brother Salman Khan. Even if Salman did not ask her to put this status message, he should not have allowed her to post it either! The clear picture, however, is yet to emerge!

Nevertheless, looks like a possible chance of friendship between Mr. G.One and Mr. Bodyguard has further taken a beating after this incident.

SRK, Salman Khan scramble for Tom Cruise

The turf is hotting up with the impending visit of Hollywood actor Tom Cruise to India ostensibly on December 4 to promote his upcoming film Mission: Impossible 4. Buzz is that there’s a scramble among the Khans — Salman and Shah Rukh in trying to host a special party for him. While Salman wants to host the Hollywood actor at a nearby five-star hotel, Shah Rukh wants to host Tom at his home. Sources, however, claim that Tom might just end up gratifying both his hosts from Bollywood.

“Salman has already spoken to producers, who are bringing Tom to India and expressed his desire to host him in India. Shah Rukh, on the other hand, has spoken to Anil Kapoor (who’s co-starring with Tom in MI4) about wanting to throw a party at Mannat in honour of Tom,” says a source.

Sources say that a middle path is now being chalked out – with Salman being the chief invitee at the welcome bash for Tom at a tentative five-star hotel in Juhu, while there will be an intimate private party at Shah Rukh’s place.

“Both SRK and Salman will be made happy this way. The producers don’t want to annoy anybody right now as both of them enjoy considerable clout in the industry. The person, who is in the eye of the storm, is Anil as Tom will be depending on him to tell him what to do when he’s in Mumbai,” the source adds.

SRK steps into Salman's shoes?

After waiting endlessly for Salman Khan, his original choice to play Bajiaro, in his ambitious project Bajirao Mastani, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has decided to move on.

He was hunting for another actor and has finally zeroed upon Salman's arch rival Shah Rukh Khan.

The magnum opus is based on the epic love story of the renowned Maratha general Peshwa Bajirao and his half-Muslim second wife Mastani and is now being revived.

Bhansali's film went through a lot of casting upheavals in the last eight years. The filmmaker had announced the film in 2003 with Salman and Aishwarya Rai, but the film hit a roadblock when the then couple split.

The director tried reviving the film in 2005 with Sallu and Kareena Kapoor but without any success.

An industry source reveals, "After things couldn't work out with Salman Khan, Sanjay was disheartened and didn't know who he should approach for the role. Since it's a big budget film, only a star can pull it off. A friend of Sanjay suggested he consider SRK.

He was quite kicked with the idea and immediately called up King Khan and offered him the role. The actor who is aware of the film and liked the subject asked him to give him a proper narration."

Interestingly, SRK and Bhansali had issues during the release of Saawariya and Om Shanti Om; the films released on the same day. While the former tanked six ways from Sunday, SRK's Om Shanti Om became the then biggest hit of all time.

Looks like they have put those issues behind them and are willing to work together.

However, sources close to Bhansali say that he is not working on Bajirao Mastani but some other script.

Salman Khan sacks Dabangg team

Dabangg might have been a winner for the brothers Khan - Arbaaz and Salman, but the producer and the lead actor seem to be in no mood to retain the winning team.

After director Abhinav Kashyap left the Khans, the technicians have now been asked to follow him. Khan brothers have decided to work with a completely new team in Dabangg 2 that goes on floors in March 2012.

A source revealed, "The earlier plan was to retain the entire cast and crew barring of course Abhinav Kashyap who had already opted out of the sequel. Dileep Shukla was roped in to write Dabangg 2. As the script developed, Arbaaz Khan realised that he'll have to work within a new setup and with an entirely new set of man-power for the film."

On the other hand, most of the technicians who worked on Dabangg have opted to work with Abhinav on his next film, a Shah Rukh Khan starrer set in Australia, claimed the source.

When contacted, Arbaaz admitted that there has been a total makeover in the sequel as far as the technicians are concerned. He added, "Why are people presuming that I'd have to depend on creative resources from the first Dabangg to make Dabangg 2? I've been born into a film family. I grew up hearing scripts and people talking cinema. I know enough about cinema to turn director confidently. It's true we don't have the original crew on board. We've hired a first-rate group of fresh technicians for Dabangg 2."

"We know what we're doing. It's Dileep Shukla who has written the sequel. But it is my vision and ideas that have been put into the screenplay. I know exactly how I want to shoot the film. The novelty of seeing Salman playing Chulbul Pandey with a moustache has worn off. We'll be going beyond," said Arbaaz.

Salman's DABANGG 2 to release in Christmas 2012

Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha will start shooting for ‘Dabangg 2’ from March 2012. The producer of the film Arbaaz Khan reveals that the film will release in December 2012. Director Anurag Kashyap opted out of the sequel due to some tiff with the Khans and now the movie will be directed by Arbaaz Khan himself.

Arbaaz confirmed that the original star casts of the film Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Sonu Sood will also be in the sequel but the story will be shifted to the larger city perhaps Mumbai.

‘Dabangg’ was a massive blockbuster of 2010 and the makers are working hard to live up to the expectation of the audience and deliver double dhamaka.

Aamir Khan delays Ek Tha Tiger's release

Salman Khan will now have more time in hand to work on Ek Tha Tiger as its release date has been postponed.

"News Break: Yash Raj's @BeingSalmanKhan starrer 'Ek Tha Tiger', which was scheduled for 1 June 2012 release, will now release on Eid 2012," movie expert Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Wonder why the release was delayed? Perhaps, Aamir did not want to take the risk of clashing with 'Dabangg' Khan. According to Adarsh, Aamir requested Salman and Aditya Chopra to shift Ek Tha Tiger's release date and they relented.

"Since Aamir wanted to release his next film, directed by Reema Kagti, on 1 June, he requested Salman & Adi Chopra to shift Ek Tha Tiger, tweeted Adarsh.

While Katrina Kaif is paired opposite Salman in Ek Tha Tiger, Rani Mukherjee would be romancing Aamir in Reema Kagti's Dhuaan. Which one are you planning to watch?

Salman will watch 'Rascals'

Though he is running out of time, Salman Khan wants to watch his buddy David Dhawan's 'Rascals' before he leaves for Dublin to resume shooting and the director in the meantime is ensuring that the film is screened for all and sundry.

Salman incidentally never watches any film. But since this is his soul-brother Sanjay Dutt's first production, Salman is willing to make an exception.

"Salman is very disturbed by the recent reports suggesting a rift between him and Dutt. He wants to somehow fit a screening of 'Rascals' in his airtight schedule, so he can recommend the film to his fans. It's the least that Salman can do. David was overwhelmed to hear this, since he knows Salman doesn't watch films," says a source.

David spent a delightful Saturday evening with Salman, Ajay Devgn and Sanjay shooting for 'Bigg Boss'.

"We all become the 'Rascals' on the set. It was Salman and Sanju's first day of shooting for the show. Seeing their camaraderie I've decided to cast them together in a comedy," David says.

While other directors and producers tend to be ultra-secretive refusing to let a single soul watch their films before release, David has gone the other route with his new comedy.

Every single day there are two-three screenings for friends, friends of friends, and friends of those friends.

In fact there are so many screenings that Sanjay, who turns a full-fledged producer with 'Rascals' has cancelled plans of an elaborate premiere.

David says he is fearless about adverse reports on 'Rascals' being messaged to the audience.

Reasons the simple and straightforward storyteller, "What is there to hide? If my film is funny and interesting I can tell by the preview audiences' reactions that they are entertained. If my film is not interesting then no power on earth and no amount of secrecy can rescue it."

David says there are three sets of previews for 'Rascals' happening simultaneously.

"My friends, Sanju's friends and Ajay's family and friends are holding screenings every day. We want as much feedback as possible," he adds.

Salman convinced me for Bigg Boss: Sanjay Dutt

Bigg Boss Season Five has come full circle as far as its hosts are concerned. Five seasons ago, Arshad Circuit Warsi hosted the first season that was shot at Karjat’s ND Studios for Sony Entertainment, followed by Shilpa Shetty, Amitabh Bachchan, and finally Salman Khan, who anchored the show for Colors.

Today, Sanjay Munnabhai Dutt will be shooting his first episode for season five with co-host Salman at the same studio. “When I took up the show and the on-air dates were decided, I didn’t make that connection. But now, I’d say it’s amazing,” beams Sanjay. “I’m not trying to pit Salman against anyone, but I watched the last season only for him.”

He asserts that his buddy had been coaxing him to take up TV shows for many years now, and he had even shot a promo of a game show called Mission Dus Crore for Sahara One, though it never took off.

“There were concepts, but I wasn’t comfortable with them. The one that I shot a promo for was one of the few that sparked my interest, but sadly, it never saw daylight. Even this time, when Bigg Boss was offered to me, it took Salman’s convincing for me to take it up. He assured me that he’d be there, and that I’d pull the show off,” says Sanjay.

Earlier this year, there were reports that Salman had recommended that the producers of Dus Ka Dum get Sanjay to anchor the third season. Sanjay says, “I’ve been on the show and I’ve enjoyed it. Salman had spoken to me about it, but until the producers make me an offer, whether I’d do the show or not doesn’t warrant a comment.”

Shah Rukh Khan befriending Salman Khan's enemies?

That Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan don't really care much for each other is well known in the industry. But SRK seems to be making it his business to befriend Salman's enemies, like Bright Outdoor advertising's Yogesh Lakhani.

It so happened that during the release of the Salman- starrer Ready a few months back, the outdoor collaborators on the film failed to deliver their end of the bargain and did not put up hoardings of the film as agreed upon. Salman's producers were in a flap and did not know what to do. Then, Yogesh Lakhani bailed them out by providing the maximum outdoor spaces, all for Salman, or so he thought. Later, when he wanted the favour returned and requested Salman to attend a screening of the film, Salman did not turn up, upsetting Lakhani.

Now, Lakhani has warmed up to SRK and vice versa. Recently, Lakhani had thrown a birthday bash and invited SRK to cut the cake. The time given was of course, 12 am, however SRK only showed up at 4 am and all the guests had to wait for the star to turn up.

Lakhani could not care less, he was ecstatic and said, " I can wait for any length of time for Shah Rukh. He is the most important guest so I paused my cake cutting. It so happened that he had loads of work and was busy in promotions, so he got late." Of course, SRK is not doing this for nothing. He plans to get the maximum number of hoardings for the promotion of Ra. One with this new bond that has been formed.

Salman is like my younger brother: Sanjay

Actor Sanjay Dutt, who is ready for his television debut with "Bigg Boss 5" that goes on air Sunday, says Salman Khan, his co-host on the reality show, is like a younger brother to him.

"He (Salman) is like a younger brother to me and we have done a couple of movies together and you can see the Big Boss promos. There is so much of chemistry. So it will be fun," said Sanjay. This is their first small screen venture, but the two actors teamed for movies like "Saajan" and "Chal Mere Bhai".

But for his new innings, 52-year-old Sanjay is happy to have Salman's company. "It's a new thing for me to go on television, but I am happy that Salman is with me.That will really help me a lot," he said. The on-screen promos of the show have been promising and reveal how the duo would create double trouble for the contestants, who will be locked in a house for three months and be under 24-hour camera surveillance. The official list of participants for the season is yet to be unveiled.

Malaika will do an item number in Housefull 2

Not that she went away anywhere, but Munni badnaam hui brought Malaika Arora Khan into the limelight.

The item number, in 2010's Salman Khan blockbuster Dabangg, catapulted not only Malaika to the top of the charts, but also ensured the movie itself sold that many more tickets.

And now she is all set to reprise her Munni avatar in Sajid Khan's Housefull 2, where she joins the returning cast of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Boman Irani, along with new entrants Jacqueline Fernandes, Asin and Shazahn Padamsee.

With this bevy of beauties already adding to the glam quotient, Malaika's apparently rustic number should break the barometer in no time.

Bollywood's new benchmark: Rs 100 crore and higher

Even before Bodyguard, the latest Salman Khan-starrer, was released in theatres, it had earned the “blockbuster” tag. The only thing left to see was if it would cross the Rs 100 crore mark and how soon it would achieve that.

The reason for such anxiety was not related to financial gains alone. It was also about the degree of success that the film would achive. “Rs 100 crore collection is the new benchmark of a Bollywood hit,” feels Atul Agnihotri, producer of Bodyguard. “In the last couple of years, the industry has seen several films surpassing the Rs 100 crore mark. Two of them have been Salman’s. So we had to promote Bodyguard right, because I was sitting on a hat-trick ball,” he adds.

The Rs 100 crore phenomenon at the box-office started with Ghajini, which raked in almost Rs 140 crore, thanks to Aamir Khan pumping his biceps and seeking revenge. The actor did it again with 3 Idiots, which earned yet-to-be-matched Rs 315 crore. However, Dabangg (Rs 170 crore) and Golmaal 3 (Rs 110 crore) kept the Rs 100 crore party going in 2010.

Katrina turns to Salman for help

Katrina, whose recent outing ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ is running successfully all over, was initially miffed with the makers during the premiere of the film in London.
It’s reported that the actress couldn’t reach the hotel before the premiere, so she had to get help from ex-flame Salman.

Katrina, who seems to be in the good books of Salman even after their break up, was relieved when the actor saved her day in spite of the last minute confusion.

Katrina’s unhappy with Yash Raj Films
It’s learnt that Katrina apparently got irritated with the situation ever since the cab driver that Yash Raj Films had arranged for her didn’t know the route to the hotel that had been reserved for her.

The driver had supposedly driven around the city for one hour without reaching the hotel.

Speaking about Katrina’s disappointment with the makers, a source stated that the actress then sought Salman’s help by asking the actor to arrange a vehicle for her to go to the premiere.

“The driver of the car organised for her by Yash Raj Films turned out to be a novice who didn't know the roads well enough. After being driven around for an hour and a half, Katrina got so irritated that she called for a taxi service. And while waiting for the other cab to arrive.

“She also called Salman to apprise him of her situation. But Katrina had had enough and she was so upset that she didn't want to use any transport being arranged by YRF for her to get to the premiere venue,” stated a source.

Salman may not act in Rajinikanth’s biopic
It seems like Rajnikanth’s family has not taken down well the fact that Salman’s next film is based on the thespian’s real life story.

Ever since Atul Agnihotri wanted to do a biopic on Rajnikanth with Salman essaying the role of the Kollywood superstar, the actor’s family is quite disappointed with the development.

When a source was quizzed whether Salman would do the biopic a source stated, “Though Salman has been denying all these reports, the buzz doing the rounds is that Atul is really interested in making a biopic on the superstar's life. The biopic will trace the superstar’s stardom and his entire life will be up there on the screen.”
