Be it his strange typos or tiff with critics, Shahid Kapoor's twitter has become quite controversial. This time, the actor made headlines after he unfollowed Shah Rukh Khan on the social networking site.

However, Shahid claims he has no clue how it happened and laughed it off. 'What's up people .... Read the weirdest story that I had stopped following srk ... Only to realize that I actually had ...... No clue how. Well he's back on my follow list .... Was just some random thing people going loony over it !!! Haha,' he tweeted.

Interestingly, one person who is still missing from Shahid's list is Priyanka Chopra. This, despite the fact that the two are featuring in Kunal Kohli's next film.

Mausam box office collection on 1st day was Rs 90 million. This is a decent opening by any yardstick

Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor starrer Mausam is getting great response from the film buffs who thronged the theaters in Mumbai, Delhi and other metros. The film is attracting good crowds at multiplexes in metros, but in smaller town in single screen theaters the response is rather muted.

The film that is based on love story of a Kashmiri Muslim girl (Sonam Kapoor) and Punjabi boy (Shahid Kapoor) seems a very tragic one. In the background of Sangh orchestrated riots following Babri Masjid demolition, Pakistan inspired Kargil war and in between Mumbai riots, the film passes through some of the most troublesome times in India’s recent history.

Meanwhile reports suggest that the film has got thumbs up from viewers despite some critics attempt to call it trash. The film has earned Rs 90 million on the first day of its release at the box office in India. This is a decent opening.

Though it may not be comparable to Bodyguard’s success nonetheless it is a decent opening and collections are expected to go up in the coming days.

Sonakshi dumps Ranveer for Shahid?

Mumbai: Sonakshi and Ranveer might be seeing each other in real life, but when it comes to reel life, the ‘Dabangg’ actress surely knows whom to romance.

Apparently, Sonakshi Sinha declined a Yash Raj’s flick opposite close friend Ranveer Singh in lieu of Shahid Kapoor starrer Sajid Nadiadwala film. It seems that the actress wants to keep her personal and professional life separate.


Talking to a daily, a source said, “Sonakshi was offered a film opposite Ranveer Singh by YRF. It was supposed to be directed by Habib Faisal. However, Sonakshi has now decided to take on Sajid Nadiadwala`s project instead. She has already given all her dates in January to Sajid.”

Buzz has it that Sonakshi and Ranveer got closer during their on-stage performance at a recently held film awards ceremony.

“However, when it came down to her career, Sonakshi decided to opt for Shahid over Ranveer. She has given the same dates to Sajid that were required by YRF for the Ranveer starrer,” said the source.

Revealing about Sajid’s venture, the source added, “Sajid Nadiadwala has written the story and the screenplay of the film himself. ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ director Sabbir Khan will direct it. Earlier too, Sabbir was to direct ‘Heer Ranjha’ starring Shahid.”
